Winter. In the mornings it’s cold and you don’t want to get out of bed - and in the evenings all you want to do is get home as soon as possible and chill out.

We know the struggle - and we know it’s super hard to stay motivated to train during winter - but we have our top 3 tips for you to keep on top of your fitness goals.

  1. Change your perception around training - rather than think of it as a chore, begin to look at training as time you carve out for yourself, away from the hustle and bustle of your day-to-day life. This small shift in mindset will change how you perceive exercise not just in winter, but throughout the year.

  2. Train with other people - if you know that someone else is relying on you to train, you won’t be able to stay snuggled in bed in the mornings or evenings and it will be the extra push you need to get yourself there.

  3. Be ready - make sure that if you’re training in the mornings or evenings, you’ve prepared everything you need the day before, so there’s no last-minute excuses that you can use. Have your outfit, gear water bottle and towel all ready to go by your door or in your car.
